Our vacations

Domingo Savio's summer vacation is an event that the kids and teenegers look forward to every year. It is one of the few occasions they get to leave Santiago with all of their friends from the Club. To share in an unknown place, enjoy nature, practice being independent, and experience together a winder world than the 4 blocks from their houses to their schools.

But all of it wouldn't be possible without the great help of our friends, colaborators, and especially Alejandro Ferreiro, Brad Epps, and the Chalice project, who with their help and committment, made it this special trip possible. Nor can we forget to thank our host in Chillan, Laura, the grandmother of three our kids at the Club, who generously shared her home and land for a week with 38 kids from our foundation.

Below is a series of galleries showing various beautiful and wonderful moments during our trip:

Departure to Chillan and entrance to Laura's home.

The first days: Exploring and getting to know the lay of the land.

Enjoying the freshness of the forrest and the rivers.

Team activities and an afternoon at the river.

Returning to Santiago.

We had a great time on our trip to Chillan! We hope that 2011 is filled with surprises and help with the big task of education and development of values. But for now, one last memory!
